SAFL - Samskritam As a Foreign Language for high school students
Samskrita Bharati USA's Samskritam As a Foreign Language (SAFL-2010-2011)
SAFL is a three-year online distance education program for high school
students who wish to learn Samskritam ( aka Sanskrit ). SAFL is designed to
introduce high school students to the rich language of Samskritam via conversational
Samskritam.
SAFL is designed solely for high school students and thus tailors
to their specific learning needs and interests. To further cater to high school
students the course is conducted via teleconference and web. Through
multimedia, online materials, instruction and residential camps, opportunities are
provided for students to interact in Samskritam.
Upon completion of the SAFL program, students are prepared for

PS: Students interested in joining SAFL Year II program - SAMS201 - directly ( without completing SAMS102 ) need to register for the course by August 15th, 2010 in order to qualify to take the waiver exam. The waiver exam will be administered between August 15th - August 23rd, 2010. More details will be provided once registration is received. Students must obtain at least 75% on the exam in order to waive the SAMS102 requirement.
Students are not allowed to join SAFL Year III program - SAMS301 - without completing SAFL Year II program - SAMS201/202.
