When are the classes run and what is the fee?
We run in many public school and follow their schedule, classes are run on Fridays, September to June when public school in town is open. There are 2 or 3 periods , you can enroll in any one of them. Registration is only 225 per subject for whole year except Art, Dance and Music classes. Discount of $25 available for 2nd/3rd subject, one sibling, referral and for volunteering.

What classes are being taught in different schools? What are the possible combination of classes one can take?

All centers have Tamil and Telugu classes in first period, Hindi in second period and Vedic Mathematics in third period. Apart from this we run many regional languages including Sanskrit class in first period 6:00 to 7:15 pm, Art, Music, Bharatnatyam, Contemporary/Folk dance, Yoga etc. based on enrollment, volunteer and class availability. However our refund/transfer policy is unmatched as we are non-profit volunteer organization, if you enrolled in a class you can easily switch and we will fully refund if class is not formed/continued. 2.How many levels are being taught for Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil and Sanskrit?
All languages are taught up to 5 levels at each locations.

3.What kind of dance(s) will be taught at Vedic Vidyalay?
Bharatnatyam.Contemporary/Folk dance will be an option based on interest.

4.Are there any make-up classes if a child misses a class?
No, there are no make up classes. Teachers can be contacted for homework for the missed class.

5.Can teachers be contacted after class?
Yes, they can be contacted via e-mail after the class.

6.Is there any discount available for more than one class?
Yes,$25 discounts are available

7. Is there a possibility of change in a time schedule for offered different classes?
Time schedules are subject to change based on interest and availability.

8. If a parent registers at one location can they go to another Vidyalay ?
Yes, if you are moving. Most schools provide the classrooms on basis that we have only town residents enrolled.

9. What is the qualification of Vedic Vidyalay teachers?
Most teachers have teaching experience of 3+ years for the subject that they teach.

10. Do you intend to have any cultural activities throughout the school year?
Yes, we will conduct poem recitations, celebration of many Indian festivals throughout the year and Annual Vedic Utsav at year end.

11. What books/materials are being used and what is taught at each level?
Vedic Vidyalay has it its own material.

12. What is the entrance/exit criterion for each level of language?
For languages all children enter at level 1(There may be different section based on age). If child had previous instruction or is proficient in the language a test can be taken to assess appropriate level.

13. Do you teach Vedas?
No, We are not teaching any scriptures but we are enabling everyone through Sanskrit lessons so one can read themselves.

14. Do you teach speaking?
Yes,All our classes emphasize on speaking. Students can learn to read/write as by-product of the lessons.
