Rachana is a gifted Art teacher with 23 years of teaching experience. Recently she has been entrusted with the responsibility of Art Director at Vedic Vidyalay. As a director, her role is to draft a concise curriculum  for all the centers as well as create an environment for sharing of creative ideas & help resolve any problems that the other teachers face.

Rachana has won Art competitions at the local as well as district levels in multiple mediums in Kuwait (Indian Arts Circle),India (Jaihind College & Local Rangoli competitions) & USA (Middlesex county Fair, NJ- 2 nd place in  Landscape & Acrylics). A few of her paintings have been auctioned for raising funds for Unitedway. Some of her work has been exhibited in the Woodbridge library.

As far as her education is concerned apart from taking many Art classes& learning techniques like Foil painting, Ceramics, Fabric, Acrylics & Oil,she has successfully passed the Intermediate drawing exam in India & has completed  Interior Designing from  Rachana Sansad Institute of Interior Design. She has also worked with some local Indian Fashion designers to paint their kurtas, sarees etc.
